Gaydon/Frankfurt am Main, 3 June 2010 - Aston Martin is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeffrey L. Scott (51) as its new Regional General Manager Europe and Managing Director of Aston Martin Lagonda of Europe GmbH, based at Aston Martin’s European office in Frankfurt, Germany.
Scott takes up his new role on June 1, 2010 taking over from Marcel Beci (37), who after almost seven years in the European team has taken on a new assignment in the company’s headquarters as General Manager Bespoke Sales & Marketing to lead the commercial development of Aston Martin’s new “Works Tailored” initiative.
Jeffrey Scott will take responsibility for all sales, marketing and service activities to further strengthen Aston Martin’s market position and to expand the dealer network in Continental Europe. He will report to Bill Donnelly, Director of Sales and Aftersales at Gaydon.
American-born Scott, who studied Economics and Business Management in the US and UK, began his career as General Sales Manager at Toyota and Lexus in Germany in 1986. In 1995 he became Managing Director of Sales and Marketing and later Managing Director of Jaguar Germany.
In 2000 he moved on to Ford of Europe where he acted as European Commercial Vehicle Marketing Manager. His most recent role was Managing Director of Jaguar / Land Rover Germany.
